PCI National Headquarters Master Plan
PERFORMANCE CONTRACTORS NATIONAL HEADQUARTERS CAMPUS
Baton Rouge, Louisiana
The Performance Contractors National Headquarters Campus is a state of the art commercial campus suited to accommodate the ongoing success and growth of Performance Contractors, Inc. Performance Contractors, Inc. was established in 1979, and since that time, have grown to include divisional offices in Louisiana, Texas and Alabama. In addition, Performance Contractors, Inc. is currently licensed to provide industrial construction and maintenance services in 27 states.
Performance Contractors, Inc. currently operates on 12.82 acres of land across two lots at the corner of Perkins Road and Pecue Lane in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The campus expansion will include 3 new buildings; Building A (3 Floors), Building B (4 Floors), and Building C (4 Floors).
The architectural identity of the new campus incorporates similar architectural elements found in the company's existing three story corporate office building located on their current site. These architectural elements include the use of precast concrete, various types of high performance glass curtain wall systems as well as solar shading devices. The overall campus architecture also operates at two different scales. The inner campus scale uses a combination of impervious paved paths, seating areas, landscaped berms, and a variety of tree types from baby oaks to cypress in addressing the human scale. The exterior campus scale uses the facades of the campus buildings that face Pecue Boulevard as one curve to compliment the geometry of the site and street edge. This also allows for a large landscape buffer zone between Pecue Boulevard and the campus buildings.
